White Light have appeared at Glastonbury many times and will be in Mere for one night only to help us have a night to remember. Bring your dancing shoes, leave your inhibitions behind and have fun, fun, fun!!!

White Light are a high energy, highly interactive and participative festival / rock / party band (with Glastonbury experience) specialising in “The Greatest Hits of All Time” whose repertoire includes tracks by Elvis, The Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Neil Diamond, Bowie, Queen, Madness, The Jam, Billy Idol, Duran Duran, Bruce Springsteen, Pulp, Oasis, Kaiser Chiefs, Killers, Kings of Leon, Coldplay, CharliXCX, The Weeknd etc.
The band have played Weddings, Awards Nights, Festivals, Military Events, Charity Galas, Holiday Parks & a residency in the South of France and generally offer 2 x 1 hour sets (fully flexible) + a between sets DJ service.
All our top of the range equipment is PAT tested and our Public Liability Insurance covers up to £10m.
There are a couple of reasons why White Light are different to other bands:
1) We are a PARTY band so we don’t just play the songs, we perform and ensure all are engaged in the show. For us, it’s a show, not just a “gig”. It’s about energy and entertainment and ensuring EVERYBODY has fun. Our show has an edge and attitude of an “originals” band who just happen to play all your favourite songs.
2) Whilst we do cover all the classic hits, we also include some more imaginative choices from Plastic Bertrand (toutes en Francais!), Andy Williams (Can’t Take My Eyes Off You), Boney M and Gary Numan.
